For the past few years Angus Arts has taken part in Luminate, the fabulous creative ageing festival that takes place across the whole of Scotland.  This year, as well as our Food + Film night on October 2nd, we will be hosting a Pop-Up Photography Exhibition featuring some of the entries for the Luminate Photography Challenge.  This wonderful new challenge is open to people of all ages to take a photographic portrait of someone from a different generation who inspires them.…

Make beautiful felted nests using natural merino wool in sumptuous colours (just perfect for holding a few small chocolate eggs).  Suitable for all ages (adults too …) with under 8s accompanied. We're delighted to be hosting the return of The Little Fawn Caravan Theatre at The Glenesk Retreat.  Created by Shane Connolly of Sokobauno Puppet Theatre in 2010, The Little Fawn Caravan is a travelling theatre space which will be touring Scotland as part of the nationwide Puppet Animation Festival. As Spring comes to the Angus glens so The Little Fawn Caravan Theatre is returning by popular demand, this time with Little Red Riding Hood. On Friday April 7th the delightful caravan theatre will be parked at the Glenesk Folk Museum at the Retreat, Glenesk, inviting audiences aged four and over to step into its magical miniature world for shows at 12pm, 1.15pm and 2.15pm.
